Pastors Tim and Kathy Sumner

For 16 years Tim and Kathy travelled extensively as missionary evangelists. In 2003 God called them to Fresno, Ca where they would become the founding pastors of Joshua Campaign International Worship Center. They would start the church with a God given vision to raise up a gospel army that would result in strong families and lead men, women, boys, and girls into their God given destinies. JCIWC is a center of influence that is passionate about community outreach where peoples lives can be restored and rooted in faith and truth. Pastors Tim and Kathy’s heart is to help establish the Kingdom of God anywhere that God sends them.

Pastor Dave and Heather Cox

Dave and Heather began attending JCIWC in 2013, but have served in ministry together since 2005! Dave currently serves as the Discipleship Pastor while Heather serves on the worship team and as part of the women's leadership team. Together they help facilitate and fulfill the vision of JCIWC in a number of ways including preaching, teaching, and counseling. Dave and Heather minister with a vision of making and raising up disciples who will in turn make more disciples. The idea of this is to fulfill Jesus command in Matthew 28. Watching a hunger for the Lord develop in others and seeing the realization that God and His Words is true is one of their favorite things about ministry. In five years they want to continue serving in whatever capacity the Lord wills. Their passion is to see the Kingdom of God established, sons and daughters coming to the knowledge of Truth, lives being transformed and in all things Jesus glorified.

Pastor Aaron and Bekah Breeze

Aaron moved to Fresno, Ca after working as a missionary in Ethiopia, Africa. It was in Ethiopia that God spoke to Aaron and gave him specific instruction to move to Fresno and submit to the vision of JCIWC. Aaron first moved to Fresno in 2012 where he served in a number of ways. In 2015 Aaron met Bekah at the church and by 2017 the two of them were married. Together they have 2 children, Benjamin, Finley and one on the way! With the unwavering support of his wife, Aaron serves as the Outreach and Missions Pastor as well as the head of media for JCIWC. Whether it’s teaching a class, preaching a message, cleaning the church, or making a graphic, It is Aaron and Bekah's heart to see the lost restored and God’s kingdom to be established.

Pastors Josh and Chelsea Sumner

Josh and Chelsea have been in ministry together for over 13 years and for the last 4 years they have served as youth pastors of Campaign Youth. The vision that God has given Josh and Chelsea as youth pastors of Campaign Youth can be found in the definition of campaign, “a specific course of action to achieve a particular goal”. For Josh and Chelsea and for Campaign Youth the action and the goal are one and the same, to live a life in relationship with Christ, not to live a life that is merely accompanied by Him. Watching this vision being fulfilled is Josh and Chelsea’s favorite part of ministry, to raise sons and daughters who know the impact they can have on the world by having a real relationship with Jesus Christ. In five years from now Josh and Chelsea would like to have accomplished a goal that they currently have, which is to create a place that any student in jr. high, high school, or college can call home. They want to have built long lasting relationships with the students they have now, but more than likely in five years, they will be eating cake at a jr. high graduation party.

Joe and Brittany Vasquez

Leah Cash

Leah Cash is the Worship Director at JCIWC and has been for the last 10 years. For Leah, her desire is simple, her desire is Jesus. Leah and the worship team are passionate about seeing “God’s Kingdom come to Earth where His glory can fill the temple. To steward the presence of our King, the one we love, who saved us. We want His heart. We want people to encounter Him and see Him rightly and in turn, never be the same.” When asked about her favorite part of ministry and the vision God has given her for the worship team she wrote the following “I just love Him. I love getting to experience the unity that takes place when we sing songs. I love learning to follow the journey that He takes us on when we praise and worship through music. I am always excited to see peoples lives changed in that atmosphere. It’s just what happens in the glory of His presence. My desire is to live and cultivate something lasting for the generations, from the generations, from all cultures and people groups. May ‘in Spirit and it truth’ be where we live. May the throne of our hearts be reserved for Him alone. I hope that in five years I can look back upon these very words and with eyes full of awe say ‘I can’t believe how good the Lord is. He has surely done great things’.”

The Women of Excellence ministry team has the desire and vision to walk along side of women. They actively encourage, mentor, and help women become women of excellence in every area of their lives. The leadership team not only sees great value in each woman, but wants all women to know that they were created with a kingdom purpose! For this leadership team, serving God’s daughters is nothing short of an honor. “One of the greatest blessings about women’s ministry is to see the Lord moving in the lives of His daughters. To see him restore and heal, to see women grow in their relationship with the Lord and walk in their purpose and calling”. There is great anticipation for what the Lord will do in and through the women of JCIWC. There is an expectancy that God will do exceedingly, abundantly above all that this leadership team could ever ask or think. This leadership team continues to looks forward to coming together in times of refreshment, refilling, and rejoicing.

Gayle Chittum - Office Administrator

Gayle Chittum gave her heart to the Lord in May of 1990 during a service that Pastor Tim (then evangelist) was ministering at. 14 years later, God would call her to reunite with the Sumners after they began pastoring in Fresno. Gayle was given a personal mandate by God to be a servant, to serve God and to serve people. The theme scripture of Gayles ministry and one written on her heart is 1 Peter 4:10, as it reads “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”. In 2006 Gayle began fulfilling this mandate at JCIWC and with a smile on her face, she has never stopped.

Janice Walstrom

Janice Walstrom has attended JCIWC since 2017. Serving as the head of the Hospitality Team as been a joy of hers since 2018. For Janice, the hospitality ministry is all about loving people! Sharing God’s love through heartfelt words, gentle touch, and warm recognition is the mission of the hospitality ministry. “Being a faithful hospitality group and adding to the team every year with people who have a heart to serve is vital to out fellowship and ministry”. A theme scripture for this wonderful ministry is found in John 15:12, “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” To minister in hospitality is to truly minister in love.

Whoever you are and wherever you’ve come from, this leadership team is here for you. Morning, day or night, we are available. Jesus loves you, and so do we.
